JC Unique – Fornya (JC’s Dreamstate Mix)

JC presents a contemporary house production focussed on a haunting but sweet ad-libbed female vocal.

This is supported by a solid swung groove with a staccato Juno bassline. Wide and enveloping Jupiter pads provide the warmth and classic filtered plucks provide the main motif for the track. An extended middle breakdown offers starbursts of sonic pleasure to bliss out to. This one is deep, but not dark.

The track title ‘Fornya’ stems from the male vocal sample loop which translates to a shortening of the name ‘California’. The obvious track title would have been ‘Tell Me’ based on the female hook however confusion with the Tommie Cotton release of that name would have created a world of confusion.
